Now that I've shown you my Master Bathroom, it's time to show you the kitchen! There are things I really love about this kitchen and a few things that are strange to me.
To start with I love the Island! It has great storage drawers, trash and recycle bins built in, a power outlet and I adore my little stools ... awwww so cute. The thing that is kinda bugging me is the angle. Why can't it be at the same angle as the kitchen sink or stove? Not to mention, it is making it hard to arrange the furniture in the living room... but that is a post for another day.
This is the very first time I've had a house with a gas stove... it's been taking some getting use to. The clicking and flames and smell of gas is just freaking me out. Queue the drama... I'm convinced I'm going to catch on fire or blow up! I will say I LOVE how fast the oven heats up. Anyone with a standard electric oven knows you got to wait forever for that booger to heat up, but not with the gas stove! So that's been really nice.
We've got a dual sink with a hose thingy that comes out, I really like that!
The microwave is nice, the pantry is awesome, dishwasher is super roomy and quiet. My pineapple vibe has fit in nicely here. I got the sponge holder from Amazon, the magnets on Etsy and the 3 pineapples from Old Time Pottery, if you want to check them out.
Next we come to my favorite kitchen appliance... the fridge. It holds all my caffeine and for that I am grateful. This fridge in particular does not have a dispenser for water or ice. There is an ice maker in the freezer thank goodness, but no fun slide for the ice to go down and out. Any one else find this strange?
Last but not least are these built in USB charging ports. I think we can all appreciate those!
