Selfie WRLD - Jacksonville, Florida

Before I headed to Jacksonville I had a few plans lined up. I planed to work, visit family, visit friends, work some more, and do a photoshoot for a podcast I co-host. I knew I wouldn't have much time but when I found out I got Monday off for the 4th of July I was sooooo excited! It was like the time gods poured the gift of time all over me. Thanks!

The very first thing that came to mind was to visit the brand new Selfie WRLD Jax. I had seen it on instagram and I've been wanting to try out a selfie museum, so why not? My friends and I booked our tickets, set up our appointment and headed to our new adventure.

Once we got there we checked in at the front desk where we were given a tripod with ring light and remote control to use. Then we were let loose into Selfie WRLD. There are about 16 unique rooms as well as some additional walls and corners you can photograph with. I don't want to ruin the experience for you by showing you all of the rooms but my personal favorite was the ball pit swimming pool (above) and upside down room (below).

If you want to, you can check out some of the rooms by scrolling through their instagram HERE. The staff also let us know that they would be changing out the room designs, starting in the fall. This means you can come back to something new, time and time again!

Fun fact - They have a few changing rooms so feel free to bring different outfits to change into.

Overall we spent about two hours at Selfie WRLD, had a great time and of course got a lot of fun pictures for the gram! The staff was very friendly. The tripod, ring light and remote control was very helpful. As an added bonus there are a couple of great restaurants and shopping in the area if you want to continue the fun. We wound up grabbing lunch at La Nopalera which I highly recommend if you are into Mexican food.
